products: their ingredients.

Grape breeze extract

Properties: Antioxidant, Emollient, Protective, UV Absorbing, Well-Aging.

Our most precious ingredient. Directly extracted from the grape breeze produced in the organic vineyards of Can Sadurní, this ingredient concentrates the antioxidants that remain in the skins and seeds of the pressed grapes.

Grapes are one of the fruits richest in polyphenol antioxidants (Yu & Ahmedna, 2013). Most of these active components are found in grape skins and seeds, where they perform their barrier function of antioxidant protection against external agents.

During wine production, the pressing and filtering of the grapes uses the most watery part: the grape pulp. But between 60-70% of the polyphenol antioxidants remain in the skins and seeds of the Breeze (Beres et al., 2017). By extracting and purifying these antioxidants, we concentrate all the power of the grape in our main ingredient.

Anthocyanins, catechins, procyanidins, and stilbenes (such as Resveratrol) are the most abundant antioxidants in grape breeze (Yu & Ahmedna, 2013).

These active components have a high antioxidant activity with multiple benefits for our skin. Primarily, their antioxidant activity prevents damage caused by reactive oxygen agents, which are formed during ageing and stress processes. Therefore, natural antioxidants help protect against damage from harmful external agents, thus keeping the skin healthier, stronger and younger.
